Film: Quiet Night

Film: Quiet Night

Apr 24, 2010

Well I had just got a new Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II for my Canon 7D.  I wanted to test out its abilities and limitations.  Therefore a night on the town was the only way.  The  film was shot handheld and the only support was my Spider Brace.  The quality of lens was unimpressive and the focus ring was difficult to use. However the speed of lens was fantastic. I was amazed at how well the lens performed in low light situations.

I will most likey get my hands on the Canon 50mm EF 1.2 L USM later on, as I prefer the better build quality which is worth every penny.

Check out the film below.

Stunning...I loved the closing shot!

Loved it. Great shot of the docks!

I loved it! Amazing images!

Toronto never looked so good.

I love the timing on the CN Tower.

Nice job. I can't get over how "filmy" it looks! I think it might be time for me to get one of these cameras!

Yes, These are wonderful cameras. Jennifer you should produce a film on one of these.

Looks great! I cant believe how fast this lens is for the price.
