C.C.E. Pub Night

C.C.E. Pub Night

Jul 15, 2010

A few weeks ago the Canadian Cinema Editors (C.C.E.) held another one of their film screenings. The film screened was District 9, followed by a question and answer period with Oscar Nominated Editor Julian Clarke C.C.E.  Following the Q+A, the C.C.E. provided drinks and a venue to discuss film editing with other industry professionals. Some of the professionals included were editors from Flashpoint, and Lost Girl to name a few.The evening was full of great humor, stories, and discussions  on various workflows including those used on District 9.

Below is a short film  covering the event. It was  shot the  Canon 7D , with the 50mm f/1.4. (to see the review on this lens click HERE). The film was not color graded by any means, it is the raw footage out of the camera. It was shot completely hand held.

I will be there! Count me in!

Thanks Tej for posting this!

There was no grading in this, then how did you get it looking so warm?

It was a combination of ISO settings and Color profiles.
You can email me, and I will explain it to you.

Does this happen often?
Can anyone attened?

I will be sure to be at the next pub night. Love the film Tej!
